Jean-Antoine Houdon (20 mars 1741, Versailles - 15 juillet 1828, Paris), bien connu pour ses œuvres réalistes, est un sculpteur français. Habile non seulement dans le travail en marbre, Houdon avait aussi un talent et aptitude pour façonner l'argile, le plâtre, le bronze et la terre cuite. On l'appelle souvent « le sculpteur des Lumières ». Il est décédé à l'âge de 87 ans. En savoir plus
